Turkey Reuben Flatbread
One of the things I miss the most about eating low carb is sandwiches. The possibilities are endless and they are easy to throw together for a quick meal. This sandwich is inspired by the turkey reuben. The bread is a variation of the fathead dough I originally used here for pizza. This dough is so versatile and once you get the hang of making this it becomes really easy to throw together. I used a mortar and pestle to grind up the seeds but you could use a spice grinder or even just put them in whole if you wanted. They caraway seeds give that classic taste of rye bread in the dough that sets it apart from other low carb breads. It is so satisfying to be able to enjoy a sandwich that fits into my low carb lifestyle. I calculated 7 net carbs per sandwich before the turkey. Just make sure to get a natural one with no added sugar and you should be good! Of course the actual carb count all depends on the brands you use, read your labels and avoid hidden fillers and sugars.
